New brakes all around and new front axles going on tomorrow. It feels weird to not have my DD ready to go at a moments notice.

It's a pain in the ass, but definitely worth the cost/time. Webster Groves Subaru quoted me over a grand to do all that stuff when I called just out of curiosity. Guess how much I'm doing it all for? Less than $400. I ain't even mad.

The car in the back is a 2001 Audi A6 2.8. My dad bought it new, drove the shit out of it and the transmission took a shit in 2011. It's been sitting in my garage ever since haha

I'm trying to talk him into scrapping it or selling it to a Chump/Lemons team cause at this point, it's not worth more than $500 haha His current DD is a '99 Suburban and he wants to get rid of that and fix up his Audi. Whatever floats his boat, I guess.

So you're getting rid of the van? What are you thinking of getting next?

What I get entirely depends on whether my parents want to buy me a new car or a used car.

If it's going to be new, either a Chevy Sonic LTZ or a Dodge Dart GT depending on how much they want to spend.

If we're going used, a Pontiac Grand Prix GTP or a E46 BMW 325i/330i.

Either way, I won't be driving a 20 year old white van around anymore, and that's a-okay with me.

Mind you, this all depends on if my dad can get back to work before his disability window ends. So far it's looking that way, so I'm hopeful.
